Job Opportunity: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia through various methods, ensuring patient comfort and safety during surgical and medical procedures.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments and document findings accurately.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists to establish effective anesthetic management plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia care for all procedures.
• Provide airway management services for both emergent and non-emergent cases.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service and exceed patient expectations.
• Support and mentor colleagues while upholding high standards of practice.
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
• Engage in professional development and continuous learning activities.
• Promote a healthy work environment through respectful communication and problem resolution.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
• At least 2 years of CRNA work experience (not including RN or training).
• Clean malpractice and license history.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• A commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Nursing and Specialty License in Michigan.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
• Full COVID-19 vaccination (unless exempt).
• DEA and CSR/CDS licenses required prior to start.
• Must be willing to travel to other ambulatory sites as needed.
• Applicants requiring visa support (J1 or H1B) are considered.
