Join Our Team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Jackson, MI!

Henry Ford Health at Jackson Hospital is actively seeking dedicated CRNAs to join our exceptional team. Experience a fulfilling career in a trauma Level II facility that offers a supportive environment for growth while providing vital anesthesia services across diverse patient demographics.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide anesthesia services for infant, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Coordinate peri-operative patient care with all members of the health care team.
  • Work in a predominantly inpatient setting with minimal call requirements.
  • Engage in a mix of 8-10-12 hour day shifts, with opportunities for longer shifts if desired.
  • Participate in a work environment where you may deal with potentially dangerous materials and situations while following extensive safety precautions.
  • Utilize EMR: EPIC for patient management.
  • Complete a health screen as required by our policy.

Qualifications:

  • Must be Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
  • Completion of an Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge and experience in the care of adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Moderate physical activity, including handling objects up to 25 pounds.

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Current Michigan Nursing and Specialty License (or willingness to obtain).
  • Up-to-date COVID and annual flu vaccinations.
  • Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid DEA license, must be obtained prior to start.
  • Clean malpractice/license history is mandatory.
