Perm - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics for various medical procedures.
• Provide leadership and support in professional practice settings.
• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and manage all aspects of anesthesia care.
• Collaborate with the anesthesia and surgical teams to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and procedures.
• Promote a healthy work environment through professional communication and teamwork.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Provide education and support to staff, patients, and their families.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and policies.
• Contribute to the overall patient experience by exceeding expectations that align with the Henry Ford Experience.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
• Active Michigan nursing and specialty licenses.
• Minimum of 2 years of CRNA work experience.
• Up-to-date with COVID and flu vaccinations.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Clean malpractice and license history.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Michigan nursing and specialty licenses.

• DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start.
