This facility is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details & requirements for this opportunity:
- Available Shift Length and Scheduling Requirements: Full-time schedule with call required; CRNA 1st and 2nd call rotation is 1:14 (both beeper); late-night coverage in reverse order of call rotation; post-call day off; 10–11 ORs plus OB daily; 3–4 rooms run late until about 7 PM
- Required Cases: OB (must be competent); 1600 annual deliveries (70% epidurals, 25% C-sections including VBACs); general surgery, GYN, ENT, eyes, craniotomies, ortho, robotic-assisted procedures, cardiac (approx. 100 bypass cases/year); no hearts; lots of regional anesthesia
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Not specified (can follow up if needed)
- Care Team (and ratio) or Independent: Mostly medically directed model; collaborative inductions; CRNAs place/manage epidurals and spinals; MDs perform most regional blocks; 7 MDs and 11 CRNAs on staff
- Credentialing Timeframe: Up to 90 days
- License required or willing to license: Active Wisconsin RN license required for submission; must obtain WI APRN (can be obtained post-submission; takes 4–6 weeks); Board Certification required
