Perm - Anesthesiology - CRNA

Job Description: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Join a dedicated team at a full-service community health system located in Clinton, Iowa. As a CRNA, you will be integral in providing anesthesiology services to a diverse patient population.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide professional anesthesiology services for adult and pediatric patients.
• Directly manage and supervise anesthesiology services in a timely manner, providing scheduled and “on call” coverage.
• Administer general and regional anesthesia, intravenous sedation, and other anesthetic procedures as required.
• Conduct pre-evaluation anesthesia services and post-surgical monitoring for complications.
• Collaborate with the OR Leadership Team and clinical staff to ensure high standards of care.
• Maintain a presence characterized by honesty, integrity, and caring to motivate others within the team.
• Respond promptly to anesthesia-related emergencies, following current medical standards.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified CRNA (NBCRNA).
• Iowa license or be willing to obtain an IMLC.
• Preferred: Minimum of 5 years of CRNA work experience.
• Experience with pediatric and adult anesthesia procedures is required.
• BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire).
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (or willingness to obtain within 1 year of hire).
• Preferred: Clean malpractice history.

License and Certification Requirements:
