Locums – PRN Anesthesia - APP/CRNA – Vidalia GA
We are currently looking for CRNA for PRN in Vidalia GA .
Coverage will be for:
- 6 main ORs
- 7 L&D suites
- 2 endo suites
- Cath Lab/Fluro-Radiology
Job Overview:
4 concurrent anesthetizing from 7a – 5p; typically, 4 CRNAs in-house with 3 MDs each morning except on Wednesdays when there is only 2. There is a very collegial relationship between surgery and anesthesia; surgeons don’t add 3-hour elective cases at 5 p.m. and work to flex as cases are load balanced throughout the week.
Job Responsibilities
Surgical Volumes: ~3,000 – 3,200 annually; Fridays are the busiest scheduled day; Wednesdays typically the lightest days.
OB Volumes: typically, 700 – 800 deliveries; 90% are labor-epidurals/C-section; C-section rate ~30%; no VBACs – L&D is on the same floor as the main ORs. MDAs stay in-house when labor-epidural is in place.
Qualifications
· Current State Medical License – Georgia
· Board Certification/Board Eligible: BC
· DEA/CSR Requirements: Per GA Laws
Working Hours
Call: CRNA call is optional, not required. The call shift is weekdays 3p-7a.
