Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) Needed for Procedural Care Units
Coverage Details:
- Duration: As soon as credentialed, ongoing with 13-week assignments
- Schedule: Weekdays (7 AM-3 PM, 7 AM-7 PM, 7 AM-11 PM) and weekends
- Part-time Locums: Considered to cumulatively fulfill the 4 FTE requirement
Practice Details:
- Experience: Two providers need general operating room (OR) experience; neuro or cardiac experience is not mandatory. One provider should ideally have outpatient endoscopy experience with Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC).
- Caseload: Average 4-5 cases per day during a 12-hour shift, mainly Orthopedics and Neurology.
- Operational Details: EMR: Cerner, Supervision: 100% supervised
- Facility: 10 ORs, Level II trauma
- Patient Demographics: Adolescent, adult, geriatric
- Case Types: Excludes hearts, pediatrics, major vascular, or OB. CRNAs won’t place blocks or lines; these are managed by physicians.
Credentialing:
- Timeframe: 4-6 weeks
- New graduates are welcome to apply
Qualifications:
- CRNA certification with an active, unrestricted license
- Experience in general OR anesthesia and/or outpatient endoscopy with MAC
- Ability to work in a structured environment with a focus on procedural care
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
