Lima Memorial Hospital is looking for locum CRNA coverage, starting as soon as credentialed! Willing to consider locum to perm or perm candidates!
Open dates:
ASAP - ongoing 3-6 months
Priority dates: 6/3/2024 - 6/7/2024 & 6/17/2024 - 6/21/2024 (provider MUST be able to cover within these dates)
Job Details:
Looking to onboard 2-4 CRNAs (4 part time, or 2 full-time)
Reason for coverage: 2 perm candidate searches open; 8 current CRNAs + 1 MD on-staff
Practice setting:
Hospital, all services performed at the hospital
Schedule: -8 or 10 hr shifts with some flexibility for 12s
EMR: Meditech
Technology:
Spectrum Anesthesia EMR
No call/weekends
Average # of Surgical cases per shift: 2-3/CRNA per day; average of 20-30 OR cases per day
Average # of Pain Mgmt Cases per shift:
Pain Mgmt has 1 day per week in the OR
Level II Trauma Designation
Annual ER Volume:
28,000
Number of operating rooms: 12 (7 OR suites, 2 Endo suits, 2 Open heart suites, & 1 OB OR suite)
Patient Demographics:
Mainly adults, some Well-Peds cases, such as BMT and T&A
Strong supervision that encourages CRNA autonomy; Supportive anesthesiologist team
Organized, well-function anesthesia specific EMR
All equipment is up to do technology
Block program is robust and supported by two block-trained RNs and tech designated to the anesthesia service line
Great team environment
Variety of cases available
Job Requirements:
No neonatal surgeries
Depending on locum skill set, may not be required to do OB, Nerve blocks, or cardiovascular cases
General, MAC, TIVA
Pre-ops, inductions, emergences, nerve blocks, etc. done independently
No bariatric or transplants
Estimated credentialing timeframe: ~30 days
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
Board Certified (AANA) - REQUIRED
Active OH license - REQUIRED
Local Candidate preferred - Lodging/Mileage considered
BLS, ACLS, & PALS Certified - REQUIRED
NRP - HIGHLY Preferred
Preference of 3 years+
