Seeking CRNA to join team in SW MN. You will work in a one-person department, independently, without the presence or supervision of an anesthesiologist. The CRNA services are required to work with all age groups of patients in various states of morbidity. 25-bed critical access hospital.
The Community:
Southwestern Minnesota is prairie country, and Murray County is right in the heart of the prairie. Not far from the Banks of Plum Creek and the site of Laura Ingalls' recollections, Murray County could have been used as a filming location for Little House on the Prairie. There are 7 lakes in the county and plenty of outdoor recreation activities such as hunting, fishing, birding, parks, trails and boating.
Other area amenities include a vineyard, golf clubs, marina, Murray County Fair. Area schools are highly rated and include both public and private.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a state board of nursing, an approved school of nursing, and a graduate of an accredited school of anesthesia for nurses.
- Board certified as a nurse anesthetist, being certified by the Council of Certification or recertified by the Council of Re-certification as applicable.
- Must hold current MN RN and CRNA (advanced practice) license, indicating CRNA status, or a board eligible graduate, with an approved temporary permit, as granted by the MN Board of Nursing.
- Continuing Education Credits as required by the Council on Re-certification.
- One year experience, in a large facility, with team anesthesia.
- Must obtain and maintain BLS, ACLS, PALS, NBCRNA, MN Board Nursing RN and CRNA, DEA, MN Department of Health Fluoroscopy variance certification, and CRNA pain management filed with MN Board of Nursing.
