Details & requirements for this opportunity:

- Schedule: 5x8s per week & 6 night call shifts/month; 3 month block, with option to extend
- License: An active Ohio state license is required
- Must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible
- Other Details: This is a small rural hospital with 99 beds, where CRNAs are expected to work independently, though they have 24/7 supervision and support. The caseload primarily consists of bread-and-butter cases and OB procedures, with 30-40 deliveries per month and 5-6 starts per day. The patient population is mainly general adult (60%), with 35% OB cases and 5% adolescents (ENT). The department is supported by anesthesiologists and OR staff. CRNAs typically work 5x8 shifts per week, with an additional 6 night call shifts per month. The role requires board certification (NBCRNA), state licensure in Ohio, and certifications in ACLS and BLS, with experience in Allscripts preferred. Privileging takes 30-45 days, and a minimum of 2 years of experience is required. The position does not require DEA or CSR but does require Ohio-specific CSR.

Job Responsibilities
* Administer anesthesia for approximately 5-6 cases per day, including routine and OB procedures.
* Manage anesthesia during 30-40 deliveries per month, ensuring patient and fetal safety.
* Collaborate with anesthesiologists and OR staff to ensure safe and effective anesthesia care.
* Participate in on-call rotations, providing support during night shifts as needed.
* Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
* Adhere to safety protocols and best practices for anesthesia administration.
* Provide education and support to patients and families regarding anesthesia procedures.
* Participate in departmental meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
* Board Certification (NBCRNA).
* Ohio State Licensure.
* Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
* Ohio-specific Controlled Substance Registration (CSR).
* Preferred experience with Allscripts.
* Ability to work independently with 24/7 supervision and support available.
* Experience in general adult anesthesia, OB procedures, and pediatric (ENT) anesthesia.
Working Hours
* 6 night call shifts per month.
Skills
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
* Ability to work independently and manage complex anesthesia cases with minimal supervision.
* Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, preferably Allscripts.
