Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Needs in Michigan! Let's sync!

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking an experienced CRNA to provide locum coverage in a facility in Northern Michigan, joining their anesthesia team. This full-time position offers a collaborative environment with independent practice, covering a variety of surgical cases including orthopedics, general surgery, OB, and urology. The ideal candidate will have strong regional block and obstetric anesthesia experience and be comfortable participating in a regular call rotation.

Dates / Schedule

• Position: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)

• Call Rotation: 1 weekday call per week and 1 weekend per month

• Shift Hours:

  • Weekday: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

  • Weekday Call: 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

  • Weekend Call: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m. (24-hour coverage)

• Call: Not in-house

Job Details / Responsibilities

• Setting: Hospital-based anesthesia services (Level III Trauma Center)

• Average Surgical Volume: 25 cases per day

• Operating Rooms: 5

• Team Composition: 4 part-time MDAs, 3 full-time CRNAs

• Practice Model: Independent (no supervision)

• Case Types: Orthopedic, general surgery, endoscopy, dental, urology, and obstetrics

• Patient Demographics: All ages (pediatric through geriatric)

• EMR: Plexus

• Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provide anesthesia care independently

  • Participate in call coverage

  • Perform regional blocks and obstetric anesthesia

  • Support safe and efficient surgical workflows

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Certification: AANA Board Certified CRNA (Required)

• Licensure: Active Michigan license (Required at submission)

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (Required)

• Experience: Regional block and OB anesthesia experience (Required)

• Medicaid Enrollment: Must participate in Michigan Medicaid/CHAMPS (Required)

• Background: Clean record for rapid credentialing (Required)

• COVID-19 Vaccination: Required at time of name clear
