The OSF St. Francis College of Nursing in Peoria, Illinois is accepting applications for Program Administrator for a planned Nurse Anesthesia graduate program.
The CRNA Anesthesia Administrator serves as the overall administrator for the Nurse Anesthesia program and will develop and maintain the program's accreditation.
The CRNA Anesthesia Administrator serves as the overall administrator for the Nurse Anesthesia program and will develop and maintain the program's accreditation.
Job Responsibilities
Maintaining compliance with the Council on Accreditation (COA) standards for Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
Develops, promotes, and maintains effective working relationships and open communication with staff, physicians, faculty, patients, families, students and other department staff and leadership.
Qualifications
Education: Doctorate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Experience:
Experience in graduate nurse anesthesia education.
Experience in graduate-level curriculum development.
Research knowledge and/or experience.
Current member of the national and state organization of American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA).
Employed by Associated Anesthesiology Group or Saint Francis Medical Center.
Licensure/ Certification: IL Reg Nurse License or MI Reg Nurse License
Certification by American Association of Nurse Anesthetists OR accredited CRNA program and APN Advanced Practice, BLS from American Heart Association and ACLS from American Heart Association.
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
Excellent clinical skills.
Excellent interprofessional and communication skills.
Analytical and problem-solving skills essential for coordinating student clinical activities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: 5 years of experience in the clinical setting as a CRNA.
3 years of management and teaching experience.
