• Shift: 10-hour days, 5 days per week (must be available 4 weeks/month)

• Call: No in-house or pager call required
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $6,090 - $6,530
• Stipends: Car rental/mileage stipend ($250/week) and lodging/housing stipend ($110/day)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Current Georgia state license as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) — required to present
• Graduation from an accredited CAA program
• Certification or recertification by the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA)
• At least 1 year of experience as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant
• Must be open to the required 5x10s schedule and full monthly availability

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain or verify patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options, risks, and perioperative plans with patients
• Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia for a variety of cases, including general, neuro, and orthopedic procedures
• Monitor patients’ physiological status throughout procedures and perform clinical interventions as needed
• Collaborate with supervising anesthesiologists and CRNAs in a team-oriented environment
