The Opportunity
A well-established anesthesia group in South Carolina is seeking 3 CAAs to provide supplemental coverage at their main Level I Trauma Center and affiliated community hospital. This is an Anesthesia Care Team model with MDA medical direction and a large, collaborative team.
Assignment Details
- Start Date: 6/8/2026
- Duration: 6-months
- Schedule: 8 or 10-hour day shifts between Mon-Fri, though 8's are preferred.
- Setting: OR/Surgery Department

What You’ll Do
- Provide patient care in OR/Surgery department
- Perform all major case types except for burns and transplants. Locums will not do blocks, hearts, or OB cases. Provider needs to be able to do general, ortho, GI, heads, and healthy peds cases. There are about 17,500 cases annually. Variable cases per shift.
- Support continuity of care
- Optional duties as applicable
Requirements
- Required licensure; Active SC license preferred
- Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
- Required Experience:
- Must have 300 case logs within the past 12 months
- Must have recent Level One Trauma experience
- Clean NPDB preferred
