🔎 Position Overview

We are seeking 2 experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a locum tenens assignment starting April 1, 2026 through July 31, 2026, with potential for ongoing PRN coverage.

This is a fantastic opportunity for CRNAs who enjoy a structured day schedule while working in a supportive surgical environment.

🕒 Schedule Details

• 🗓 Start Date: 04/01/2026

• 📅 End Date: 07/31/2026

• ⏰ Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (8.5 hours)

• 📌 Day shifts

• 📆 Weekend coverage required

• 📞 No call requirement

🏥 Practice Setting

• Surgical environment

• Supervised by an anesthesiologist

• 20 surgical cases per day (including endoscopy)

• 2 Operating Rooms + 1 Endoscopy Suite

• Level IV Trauma Center

• Patient population: Pediatrics to Geriatrics

• ~13,000 annual surgical volume

• Fully staffed OR team

• EMR: Epic

👩‍⚕️ Clinical Expectations

Ideal candidates must:

• Be comfortable managing diverse surgical cases

• Work independently while collaborating with anesthesia team

• Adapt to sporadic PRN scheduling

• Demonstrate strong airway & perioperative management skills

✅ Required Credentials

• ✔ Board Certified CRNA

• ✔ Active Michigan License (IMLC/Compact not accepted)

• ✔ BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications

• ✔ Self-Query NPDB (within 30 days of submission)

• ✔ COVID vaccination required

📚 Epic training required prior to start (waiver available for experienced users).
🧪 Physical & 5-panel drug screen within 30 days of start.
