WeCare is a fast growing FQHC in rural Northern California nestled amongst the redwoods. We have 3 locations to serve our patients. Our original facility is along Highway 36 in Mad River, CA one mile away from the Humboldt/Trinity County line, our Scotia, CA facility is off of Highway 101 in the Scotia shopping complex, and our newest facility in Weaverville, CA just off Highway 3.
Company History
WeCare is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) Community Health Center. We were also awarded a special designation May 1st, 2005 as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). The area we serve is federally recognized as a Medically Underserved Area, and has Professional Shortage Area designations for Primary Care, Mental Health, and Dental. The clinic was founded by a group of concerned citizens 26 years ago with a mission “to improve the quality of life in southern Trinity and southeastern Humboldt Counties by providing access to quality, comprehensive, innovative, and integrated primary health care and emergency medical services regardless of ability to pay.”
