Company History
8 years ago, the County of Ventura approached Dr. Underwood to create a medical group that would employ Internal Medicine specialty physicians. Physicians that were contracted directly with the County as contractors voluntarily moved to Oceanview where salaries were brought to market rates and a rich list of benefits were provided. Since then, the group has thrived, nearly doubling in size. We have added Dermatology and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation docs to our group as well as adjusting physician numbers to meet clinical needs. Working closely with our partner, the County of Ventura's Health Care Agency, we look forward to a stable and long-lasting future.
