Medical Associates of Delray is an established, independent and physician owned, private practice in Delray Beach, Florida. Our practice focuses on value-based preventive care, as well as treating chronic conditions and comorbid conditions in individuals 18 and over. We are looking for a qualified BC/BE physician (M.D or D.O.) to replace a retiring physician who has a full panel of patients. The position is100% outpatient, however inpatient responsibilities are optional. We do not focus on RVU’s and we are offering a competitive base salary with an incentive bonus structure. Office hours are Monday to Friday and telephone call is 1/6. The position is available immediately or as soon as the candidate can start.

Responsibilities: (not limited to)

~ Maintain an active Florida medical license and DEA number

~ Provide comprehensive quality preventive care and perform annual well visits

~ Provide comprehensive care and management to patients with numerous comorbid conditions

~ Perform preoperative evaluations

~ Conduct transition of care visits after patients have been in a hospital or SNF

~ Communicate with other physicians and medical providers

~ Be able to effectively communicate with patients, family members and caregivers

~ Be responsible for ordering and interpreting labs and diagnostic testing

~ Keep clear and concise medical records that are completed in a timely fashion

~ Work as a team member

~ Understand patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

~ Keep up to date with developments and changes in the field of medicine and complete necessary CME

~ Attend required office meetings, meetings with insurance companies and ACO mandated meetings

~ Remain in good standing with CMS, insurance companies and have no pending malpractice suits
