Friends of Family Health Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community health center serving Orange & San Bernardino Counties. Our headquarters is located in La Habra, California, with additional sites in Tustin, Ontario, Pico Rivera, and La Puente, California. Our mission is to provide access to affordable and quality medical, dental, and behavioral health services to as many residents in the Southern California region as possible.
Company History
Originally founded in 1996 by Institute for Healthcare Advancement, Friends of Family Health Center (FOFHC) began its operation as a small community pediatric center under the name of Friends of Children Health Center. Later in 2009, due to increased demand for healthcare services by underserved community members, the clinic expanded its services to all ages and changed its name to Friends of Family Health Center.
In mid-2012, Friends of Family Health Center received its designation as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and became a completely independent non-profit organization. Since, FOFHC has expanded through Orange County and to San Bernardino and Los Angeles Counties. We continue to focus on both insured and uninsured members of the community through a variety of services including, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatric Care, OBGyn, Behavioral Health, Dental, and Chiropractic treatment, as well as, Community Outreach and Enrollment Services and Family Planning.
