Company Information
Omni Wound Physicians is a mobile group of licensed qualified health care professionals (Physicians, Surgeons, Physicians Assistants and Nurse Practitioners), providing advanced surgical wound consultation and treatment as well as feeding tube management services (including G-tube replacements with mobile confirmatory radiographic imaging and G-tube removal) at the patient's bedside either in patient private residential homes, boarding care homes, assisted living, skilled nursing facilities, LTACS, subacute hospitals/facilities, convalescent hospitals and rehab facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Chronic wound management: Evaluation and assessment, diagnosis, treatment, including debridement of wounds and application of appropriate dressings.
- Gastric feeding tube replacement services.
- Communication with the patient’s PCP, nursing staff, patient and family members.
Qualifications and experience:
- Wound care experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Surgical background preferred but not mandatory.
- Unrestricted California Medical License required.
- Master of Science (minimum level of education)
- Licensed MD/DO/PA/NP
- Written and verbal communications skills (computer skills necessary)
- Bilingual is a plus
- Ability to learn, teach and manage others
- Be a team player

Salary: $160,000.00 or more annually for PAs
Salary: $165,000.00 or more annually for NPs
Salary: $235,000.00 or more for MD/DOs

Omni Wound Physicians was founded by Izuchukwu Okpara, MD, PCWC, FAPWHc in 2016 and has enjoyed great success in providing advanced wound management and gastrostomy services in the Southern California community. We continue to expand our areas of coverage into Northern California and the Greater San Diego areas. We work with hundreds of home health and hospice agencies providing wound care management for their diverse population of patients and have partnered with several insurance groups, primary care physician offices as well as skilled nursing facilities.
