GMHS consists of a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital, 2 Rural Health Clinics and a 40 bed LTC facility. The hospital provides Acute, Swing Bed, ER and outpatient services to our surrounding community of approximately 6,000.

Gordon, NE is located in the Northwestern Panhandle, 5 ½ hours from Denver, CO, 1 ½ hours from the Black Hills and Badlands of South Dakota, and 2 ¼ hours from Scottsbluff, NE. Gordon has a nine-hole golf course, movie theatre, bowling, fitness gym, cowboy museum and several lakes within easy driving distance. Gordon is surrounded by the beautiful sand hills of Nebraska, abundant with various wildlife and close to the Niobrara River for fishing and canoeing.
