ConvenientMD is a non-hospital affiliated urgent care organization seeking Emergency Medicine and Family Practice physicians for our sites located in Bedford, Concord, Dover, Exeter, Merrimack, and Windham, NH. ConvenientMD is dedicated to providing the best medical care and best health care experience for our patients and staff. Company History
ConvenientMD’s medical team is led by Dr. Jeff Collins, nationally recognized for his work in establishing national ambulatory quality guidelines for the provision of urgent care and for his medical research in the urgent care field. Dr. Collins joined ConvenientMD from the Massachusetts General Hospital, where he served as Medical Director of the MGH Urgent Care Center in Chelsea since 2001. He also served as Medical Director of the MGH Center for Community Health Improvement in Boston since 2007.
Dr. Collins is Course Co-Director for the MGH Departments of Medicine, Pediatrics and Medicine/Pediatrics courses in “Urgent Care Medicine” and “Community-Oriented Primary Care.” He is an Instructor in Medicine at the Harvard Medical School and a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at the Boston University School of Medicine.
Collins serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Urgent Care Foundation and has served on the Board of Directors of the Urgent Care Association of America. He is on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Urgent Care Medicine and was a member of the JCAHO/UCAOA Ambulatory Health Standards Applicability Committee that helped set the accreditation standards for urgent care centers nationally.
As opposed to long wait times and stressful situations patients and families often face in emergency rooms for non-emergent conditions and illnesses, Dr. Collins believes that the highest quality medical care is most effectively provided in a welcoming, compassionate urgent care environment dedicated to providing high quality care as quickly as possible.
