Our Department of Radiology is seeking a full-time radiologist, interested in pursuing an academic career in Neuroradiology at the rank of Assistant Professor! The candidate filling this position will demonstrate expertise and interest in Neuroradiology and Nuclear Radiology/Theranostics. This faculty position will include clinical duties, teaching, and academic research. Breakdown of duties will be dependent on the track the faculty member is hired. Clinical duties will include all aspects of diagnostic neuroradiology and head and neck radiology including, but not exclusive to CT, MRI, ultrasound and myelography. Call responsibilities will be defined by staffing levels and will be assigned by the section chief. Teaching assignments include medical student, resident, fellow and other department trainees as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • MD or DO Degree required Board certified or board eligible in diagnostic radiology and certified or eligible for Neuroradiology subspecialty certificate ("CAQ")
  • Licensed (or eligible) to practice medicine in the state of North Carolina.
  • Fellowship training in Neuroradiology (2 year Neuroradiology fellowship) and Nuclear Radiology, with Theranostics experience required.
  • Strong interest in academic radiology
