Founded in 1912, our client stands as the regional referral center for various specialized services, including high-risk pregnancies, mammography, minimally invasive surgeries, outpatient diagnostics, and urogynecology. Position Details:
- NICU and Newborn Nursery Size: 40+ (You will cover 14)
- Average Daily Census: Nursery 6-8, Peds 6-8 with outliers
- EMR: Utilizing MediMobile and Epic systems
- Average Patient Age: Peds Floor (35+ weeks for newborns)
- Subspecialty Backup: Access to Surgery, Gastroenterology, and Neurology support
Additional Responsibilities:
- Conduct multidisciplinary rounds and provide care to patients in the Nursery & Peds Floor.
- Perform necessary procedures as required.
- On a given night shift, you may encounter 4-5 new baby admissions and 1-2 PED admissions.
Facility Amenities:
- Enjoy the convenience of a locked small sleeping suite equipped with essential amenities, cleaned daily by environmental services.
Shift Availability and Credentialing:
- Available for up to 7-10 shifts monthly.
- Average credentialing time ranges from 60-90 days.
Important Note:
- Only 1 physician will be on a shift at a time. Please ensure that you are comfortable being the sole provider during the shift.

Duration: 24 hours (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM)
Location: Out of house
Night Calls: Calls vary depending on patient acuity, with some nights experiencing lighter call volumes than others.
