**OBGYN job opening in Monroe County, TN**
Located 45 miles from Knoxville and 70 miles from Chattanooga
**Position Details:**
- Full-time, permanent position
- Candidates must be BC/BE
- Competitive Salary and bonus incentives

- Current group: 2 full-time OBGYN physicians
- The clinic is attached to hospital.
- The hired OBGYN can expect to have their own office, ample exam rooms, and access to a procedure room and ultrasound, along with appropriate support staff.
- Physician-owned practice - the hired OBGYN will be able to determine the schedule and hours of her/his practice.
- Patients per day: 20-25 patients in the clinic per day, but the practice does have the ability with support staff to see up to 40.
- The current OBGYN block time is Monday and Wednesday mornings for surgery.
- Typically, providers are working 4 days a week - additional hours can be accommodated
- For the practice, 70% of the patients are OB, 30% GYN with an average of 30 deliveries per month (350 last year) - 15-18% delivered via cesarean.
- Call: 1:3 weekday and weekend call. If it is your weekend, every effort is made to schedule so that you would only be responsible for 1 night during the week. Providers do not need to be in house when on call.
- There is a Level II NICU with access to transfer patients to the children's hospital or medical center in Knoxville
- EMR on-site
**Qualifications:**
- Candidates must be Board certified or Board Eligible for new residents
- MD or DO
- Experienced and/or residents will be considered
**Compensation Information:**
- Base Salary with 3-year guarantee
