**Hospitalist: Nocturnist - MD/DO opening in Jackson, MS** **Highlights:** - No PEDS; dedicated pediatric hospitalists - Admits from the ER mostly (some down time, do as many admits as you can during peak times; average census - 130) - Complete sub-specialty support/coverage - H1-b and J-1 visas considered - See an average of 18-22 patients with 3-4 new admits per shift - 7 AM to 7 PM Hospitalists cover codes on weekdays; Internist answer codes on weekends, nights or holidays - Block scheduling; 7 on/ 7 off from 7 PM-7 AM - Great Team Culture, co-led by Medical Director & Administrator **Requirements:** - BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine - Must have or be able to obtain a MS license **We offer:** - Competitive Base salary plus Quality & Productivity Incentives - Opportunity for additional income for taking extra shifts - Relocation allowance - 7 days of PTO - CME - $5000 per calendar year - wRVU bonus paid monthly - Citizenship and Quality Bonuses are paid quarterly - Continuing education opportunities - Generous retirement plan - Health insurance, including dental and vision - Sick leave - Service awards - Free parking - Short-term disability - Life insurance - Health care and dependent care spending accounts - Education assistance/continuing education - Employee referral program **Community Information** Jackson, MS is known as the "City with Soul" because of her perseverance and her triumphant spirit.
