**Hematology/Oncology Opportunity: Watertown, NY**
~ Located 70m to Syracuse, 50m to Canadian border
~ H1 Eligible
**Position Details**
- Full-time
- Permanent
- The medical oncology program is affiliated with Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, Buffalo NY.  Roswell Park will employ the physicians associated with the Cancer Center 
- Join a group of 2 other board certified medical oncologists
- Call: 1:3
- Cancer center located on hospital campus
- Catchment population: 250,000
- Large network of providers offering a strong referral base
- Serving the military men and women from nearby Fort Drum, home to the 10th Mountain Army Division
- Emergency oncologic admissions are provided by Hospitalist Service, with consult to oncology physicians  
- Teaching opportunities are extended with accredited ACGME/AOA family medicine and internal medicine residency training programs
- A very appreciative patient population offers a professionally rewarding career
**Package Highlights:**
- Annual salary: $510,000 year 1, plus a WRVU productivity model
- Annual salary: $550,000 years 2-4
- Signing bonus:  $50,000
- Education Loan repayment:  $20,000 each year
- Relocation reimbursement:  $10,000
- 4-year contract with stable base

**Cancer Care Center:**
- Newly constructed and opened in 2018, the cancer center brings a full spectrum of oncology service lines under one roof
- Affiliation with Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center will provide clinical trial opportunities and clinical pathways and protocols from a nationally recognized leader in cancer care
- Well-equipped with advanced technology
- Diagnosis, treatment, support, survivorship, preventative, palliative and end-of-life care
- Nurse navigation services
**Qualifications:**
- Holds Board Certification with the American Board of Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification in Medical Oncology and Hematology, or actively in process
- Values patient-centered care and has desire to work within a team model
- Demonstrates top-notch interpersonal skills in addition to excellent clinical skills
- Enthusiastic and motivated to provide the best possible care and outcomes
