East Coast Florida Hospital | Gastroenterologist Call Coverage | Hospitalist Need | April 16-19 + May 13-17
Jackson + Coker's valued client located on the eastern Florida coast needs GI hospitalist coverage beginning this April and ongoing. Our client is using an average of 1-2 weeks/month of locums and is currently filling in the gaps that they haven’t managed to fill with their active locums options. Once credentialed, you will be eligible to pick up additional ongoing dates as they become open.
Dates of coverage needed:
- April 16 at 7AM - April 19 at 7AM
- May 13 at 7AM - May 17 at 7AM
- Will have future intermittent 5-7 day stretches ongoing in Q3 + Q4
Details/Requirements for Assignment #99957:
+ Active Florida license required
+ Board Certified or truly Board Eligible
+ Full week of coverage starts at 7AM on Monday through the following Monday at 7AM
+ GI Hospitalist shift model - will be on call 24/7 and will spend a minimum of 6-8 hours/day during the weekdays (M-F) working in the inpatient setting
+ Will stay on call during the weekday evenings & continue call coverage through the weekends.
+ Will be covering the ED + doing inpatient rounding and seeing emergent consults that come through (require a minimum of 6 hours per day of inpatient work to be included in daily rate)
+ Volume: facility often has 10-15 patients per day that need to be rounded on and 8-11 new patients/day
+ Can anticipate working 8-12 hours per day in the hospital
+ Will not have APP support in the inpatient setting
+ ERCP is not required, preferred
+ Facility detail: not a designated trauma center, 250+ bed facility, Epic EMR (Epic experience is preferred)
+ Facility is also actively recruiting to hire 2-3 GIs for GI Hospitalist work
