Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity in Florida
Our 100-bed acute care hospital, a cornerstone of healthcare in Okeechobee and the surrounding areas for over 40 years, is looking for EM physicians to join our team on a locum tenens basis!
Qualifications
- Board-certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Current ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum of 24 months of recent Emergency Medicine experience
Practice Details
- 100-bed Acute Care Hospital
- 29,000 annual emergency department visits
- 11-bed Emergency Department with 3 fast-track beds
- 24-hour Advanced Practice Provider coverage
- 20% admission rate
Shift Schedule
- Day Shifts:
- 7 AM - 7 PM
- Night Shifts:
- 7 PM - 7 AM
