Immediate Need: LOCUM Interventional Cardiologist
Location: 175-bed Hospital (Inpatient/Outpatient Setting)
Start Date: As soon as credentialed/licensed Orientation: Scheduled for the day prior to the start or the morning of
Schedule & Coverage:
- Clinic Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
- 24-hour Call: Includes 8 hours of onsite rounding and procedures
- After-Hours: 24/7 coverage for STEMIs
- Urgent Dates for Coverage:
- July 10 (7 AM) to July 15 (7 AM) - Includes 3 days of general coverage
- July 30 to August 7 - 24-hour call coverage
Patient Care:
- Consults: Average of 5 per day on general call
- Procedures: 2-6 coronary angiograms per day (inpatient/outpatient)
- Patient Clinic Volume: 14-16 patients/day with 30-minute appointment slots
- Patient Mix: Adults 18 years and older
Required Procedures:
- Interventional procedures including PCI, diagnostic caths, right/left heart caths, Echo/Stress interpretation
- Provider will cover STEMIs and perform PCIs for diagnostic catheterizations
EMR: Meditech with Patient Keeper interface
Support Staff:
- Fully staffed office, including 1 MA per provider in the clinic
- Anesthesia support as needed for inpatient cases
