A trauma hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.
Upstate New York is filled with beautiful sights to see like Niagara Falls, Watkins Glenn State Park, and the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum!
The schedule is Monday - Friday with 1:4 call. Temp privs can be requested for locum with a clean file, no malpractice, and no work gaps. The clinician will cover bread and butter surgical cases as the primary anesthesiologist. The highest volume is with ortho and GS cases. Call includes OB and the clinician must be within 15 minutes. The clinician will work as a collegial part of a multi-disciplinary OR team. The facility has 100% OR and L&D and 9 main ORs constructed approximately 18 years ago. OB/GYN, ortho, general surgery, plastic surgery, vascular, colo-rectal surgery, ENT, GI, and urology are preferred. A BC or BE and COVID vaccine are required. The EMR system is EPIC.
