**Anesthesiology Opening in Poughkeepsie, NY**
* General, ortho, neuro, vascular, ENY, thoracic, GYN, hearts (no transplants).
* No peds except for ENY/MRI and Dental, with small case load

* 350-bed facility. 294 private patient rooms, 30-room intensive care unit, network of 23 surgical suites, and 66 exam and treatment rooms in the emergency and trauma center.
**Responsibilities**
* Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
* Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
* Pre-anesthesia assessment
* Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
* Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
* Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
* Performance of clinical intervention as needed
**Requirements**
* M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
* ECFMG and FLEX
* Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
* Currently licensed as a physician
**Compensation Details**
* General Call-taking Anesthesiologist: $475K with 6 weeks of PTO
* Night Float Anesthesiologist: $525K; No PTO: 7 days a week with 26 weeks on/off schedule
* Per-Diem Anesthesiologist: $250/hour
* 1099 Anesthesiologist: $275/hour
