Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced (preferred) physician assistant/nurse practitioner to join the Colorectal Surgeons Team located on the campus of Henrico Doctors' Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.

Qualified Candidates:
  • Duties will include: caring for patients in the outpatient clinic and hospital settings
  • Communicates effectively with physicians, hospital staff, director, and other healthcare disciplines to facilitate prompt and accurate patient care.
  • Analyzes pertinent data, communicates findings with physicians, documents information and assumes accountability for decisions and actions of a hospitalized patient.
  • Plans follow-up care in collaboration with the attending physician, surgeon, and other healthcare disciplines as required.
