Urgent Care physician - Rural opportunity on the island of Maui
We have an opportunity for a board-certified family medicine physician (with a background in urgent care) to practice at a small rural clinic on the Hawaiian island of Maui. You'll generally work 8a-5p, providing call coverage the nights of each day you work. This is a very rural facility so you should be comfortable treating whatever walks in the door. You can plan on seeing 20-25 patients per day. This is the only medical facility in the area and you'll be the only physician on staff when you're working. A physician assistant, trained EMT and ambulance crew are all onsite as well. BLS, ACLS and ATLS certifications are all required.
You can get started as soon as February and your travel, housing and occurrence malpractice coverage will all be included. Considering this is such a rural location, you'll be staying in a private room (with bathroom) in a shared house on the clinic property.
