Experienced clinical practitioner who would like to transition to a non-patient-facing clinical environment. Opportunity to work from home - Daylight hours M-F
Conduct office-based pre-authorization of high-tech diagnostic imaging, cardiac testing, specialty pharmacy and sleep management services. Physician Reviewers determine the medical necessity of outpatient requests using clinical guidelines and health plan medical policy.
MUST be Board Certified
MUST LIVE IN IL and can work from home.
Part time opportunities are also available (2-3 days a week)
Daylight hours - M-F - NO 24x7, on-call, etc.
Can have 3 years - 20 years experience in any of these specialties
Internal Medicine
