Looking for a CVT surgeon who wants to practice in central MO about 2 hours to both KC and St. Louis. The ideal candidate would be trained and comfortable doing cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and (preferably) endovascular procedures. The hospital did approximately 100 hearts last year, so the candidate would need to have a well-rounded practice. This physician would be the only employed surgeon in a 9 county service area. This is a 70 physician group with additional 11 physician extenders and a 11 CRNA group. Call would be shared 1:3 with another cardiac surgeon in the community. This position is hospital employed in his/her own clinic located at the acute care campus.
