We are looking for physicians looking for a medical director role for our outpatient wound center. This would be an opportunity for those with or without wound care experience as we offer wound care training for all our physicians! We are looking for physicians who enjoy a balance of quality of care, preventative medicine and problem solving! We offer a lifestyle balance as our physicians as schedules do not require call, nights or weekends.
Healogics operates outpatient wound care centers in hospitals throughout the country. The medical director is the main medical care provider in the wound care center and a key leader of the care team. The WCC in this hospital is provided to over 350 patients annually and consists of patient care assessments, aggressive treatment such as wound debridement and use of advanced therapies such as Hyperbaric Oxygen.
The medical director works with a dedicated team of nurses, HBO technicians and support personnel as well as panel physicians who may support the center from time to time.
Healogics Specialty Physicians (HSP) is a division of Healogics that recruits, hires and supports physicians who work in the wound centers. As an HSP physician, you will be part of a rapidly growing network of wound care professionals dedicated to healing wounds with the best means available. HSP supports all WCC physicians with a comprehensive training program which includes HBO certification, a mentorship with an experienced regional medical director and ongoing support from and access to medical leaders. Healogics is dedicated to employing physicians to lead the WCC teams and improve the quality and access to all patients in the community who suffer from non-healing wounds.
Compensation and Benefits: HSP offers a competitive guaranteed base salary plus bonus based on the revenue generated in the practice paid out quarterly.
The benefit package is extensive including medical and dental insurance, 401K with a 3% match, 19 days of PTO and 6 paid holidays, disability and life insurance. In addition, there is a CME offering of $3,000 and up to 5 days.
Medical malpractice is paid by the company and tail if you leave, and have been employed for 4 years.
