Job Description & Requirements
Interventional Radiologist
Greetings! My name is Robert Staton, Search Consultant for the nation’s largest physician recruiting and consulting firm, Merritt Hawkins. I am reaching out to share a new Interventional Radiology opportunity with you. This is a group that can only be described as dominant and dynamic. Commanding their market with intelligent ancillaries, powerful PACS and a private imaging and IR office space, this is an exciting opportunity to join a solid group of Radiologists with no fear of diminished market share.
  • 95% interventional work
  • Three weeks on, one week off – take a vacation a month
  • 1:4 weekend call – some diagnostic, but predominantly procedures
  • Work with a large, regional group of Radiologists – 12 in total
  • Exclusive, comprehensive contracts with the two largest hospitals in the region
  • $400,000 to start, partnership track after 2 years
  • Multiple layers of technology backing your business – Mckesson, GE, and IntelliRad PACS and voice recognition
Practice in a Central Location with Access to Some of the South's Best Cities Including Houston, Dallas and New Orleans
  • Public and private school options
  • Excellent access to other metro areas
  • Abundant fishing, hunting, water sports: an outdoor paradise
  • Stable economy based on medicine and manufacturing

With reimbursements seeming to drop by the day and large, national non-physician owened super-group absorbing more and more of the markets once owned by physician run groups, it is truly refreshing to find and work with such a strong group of physicians as this. I am excited to share their story with you and introduce you to them.
