Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 01/22/2018Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
A radiology group in the Phoenix, AZ area is in need of full time radiologist coverage from a body imaging radiologist. The radiologist must have an AZ license, MQSA and Tomo certified if reading mammography which is a preference, but not required, and have a DEA. The position will start November / December 2017 and continue until a hire is made. The group would like as many weeks covered as possible. The radiologist will be working between a couple hospital sites in a team environment 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. There is an option to do call and weekends in rotation with the group. An average day will consist of reading 30 mammograms per day (8 diagnostic / 22 screening), and the remainder of the studies will be a mix of plain film, CT, US, MR, and PET. (PET is preferred and not required). If the radiologists has a cross-sectional mix the daily volume will be 80-90 studies per day. The site uses Fuji Synapse PACS, Powerscribe360 voice recognition, and Hologic Tomo.
