Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
A solo radiologist site in Northwest New Mexico is in need of 8 weeks of locums coverage per year, ongoing. The site is looking for an ABR board certified radiologist with a NM licesne to read all diagnostic modalities and perform light interventional procedures. It is 80% diagnostic and 20% interventional.
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
