Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
A hospital in far northwestern Pennsylvania is looking for diagnostic radiologist coverage starting May 2017 ongoing weekly throughout the rest of the year. The hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday no call and no weekends. The radiologist will need to read all modalities and either perform breast procedures or perform flouro cases. The radiologist must be PA licensed, ABR certified, and MQSA certified. The position can be filled with a couple physicians if the radiologist does not have full time availability.
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
