Interventional Radiologist - Physician - (Radiology - VIR - Inter Rad) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
A hospital site in Southern California is in need of an fellowship trained interventional radiologist for ongoing vacation coverage. The job will be 7am to 4pm with evening call and weekends. The job is 100% interventional averaging 10 procedures per day and evening IR only with exception of emergent barium cases which rarely arise. There is a trauma protocol for middle of the night barium swallows requested "stat" for rupture. Procedures are angiography above and below the neck, angioplasty, stenting below the neck, embolization below the neck, endoleak, gastrointestinal bleeding, tumor embolization (HCC and other), Splenic artery embolization, BRTO (gastric varices), Trauma, Post- partum hemorrhage, Fibroids, Varicocele, Vascular malformations. In addition, lysis and recanalization, Pulmonary artery, venous (DVT acute and chronic), dialysis fistulae, graft declot, arterial, percutaneous biliary intervention, drainage, balloon plasty, palliative stenting, TIPS and TIPS revision,
