Interventional Radiologist - Physician - (Radiology - VIR - Inter Rad) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

A hospital in Texas is in need of an ABR certified interventional radiologist for coverage the following weeks in 2017: 11/13, 11/27, 12/4, 12/18, and 2018 is wide open for the takinThe schedule is Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, with interventional call every evening. The radiologist will also work weekends 8am to noon onsite and then take interventional call. This is a solo site, but there is another radiologist at the outpatient imaging center, and tele radiology coverage. Must have a TX license, MQSA certification, and have a DEA license. An average day is performing 1-5 procedures and then reading an average of 80-100 mixed diagnostic studies consisting of plain film, MR, cat scans, mammography, ultrasounds, and nuclear medicine. The number of diagnostic studies read will be commensurate with the number of procedures performed. At the moment this position is 80% diagnostic work and 20% interventional work, but the interventional side should group over time. The PACS is RamSof
