Interventional Radiologist - Physician - (Radiology - VIR - Inter Rad) Locum Tenens
A radiology group is looking for a fellowship trained interventional radiologist to cover 18 weeks of vacation per year. One site is a team environment and the radiologist will be performing an average of 7 procedures per day and will be reading 30-35 diagnostic studies between cases consisting of plain film, cat scan, ultrasound, and MRI. The second site is a solo site and it is 80% diagnostic reading 60-60 diagnostic studies per day consisting of plain film, cat scan, ultrasound, MR, and preferably mammography. The solo site only sees 2-3 procedures per day usually light interventional work. Both sites will be Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, no call and no weekends.
An interventional radiologist(locum tenens) is a physician who utilizes minimally invasive, image-guided procedures and techniques to diagnose and treat patients for various conditions.
