Experienced Physiatrist needed for beautiful Alabama community right along the coast. This will be a great opportunity to join a magnificent general Inpatient community rehab facility centered on patient care. You will be joining another Physiatrist that had created a new and upcoming program in this facility. The ideal candidate would be comfortable handling around 15 patients/day with cases ranging from: heavy stroke, amputations, mild TBI and spinal cord cases. Weekday and weekend call is 1:3. During weekend call you will be responsible for rounding and seeing patients. If you have an interest in teaching you can choose to work with medical students, but this is not required. There is also the possibility of starting an OP program 2-3, ½ days a week sometime in the future. is community can keep a single Physician entertained, or be a great place to start, or settle down with a family.
