OPPORTUNITY – HANOVER MEDICAL GROUP PEDIATRIC HOSPITALISTS

•Hanover Medical Group, a corporate affiliate of Hanover Hospital, is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Hospitalist to expand its Pediatric Hospitalist Service and join its network of primary and specialty practices serving the 100,000 residents in its primary service area
•Responsibilities would include the inpatient pediatric service and Level I nursery, attending C-sections and at-risk deliveries, and pediatric consultations on inpatients and in the Emergency Department. Development of a Level II Nursery is an eventual goal.
•Variable patient load depending on number of pediatric inpatients and births. Physician would respond to pediatric codes (which is rare).
•Good subspecialty and Level III NICU referral support system in place
•In addition, the members of the Pediatric Hospitalist service help educate and maintain the competency of our nursing staff as well as our mid-level provider staff within our three ambulatory free standing Express Cares. They also will serve on Quality Improvement committees to maintain the highest quality of pediatric care throughout the organization
•Additional qualities sought include: good bedside manner, interpersonal relationship skills, professional enthusiasm, and commitment to the community
•Focus placed on providing quality round-the-clock patient care that is continuous and consistent
