Pediatric Emergency Physician - (EM Peds, ER Peds) Locum Tenens
Hospital in southeastern Texas is seeking a Board Certified Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician for locums coverage. The community is known for its beautiful parks and events. Shifts are 12 hours, 6 shifts per month with an ongoing need for over 6 months. Physician must be BC/Peds with EM experience or BC/PEM. Charting system is Meditech Pdoc. Please reply with any availability.
Specializing in the diagnosis and care of children and teenagers who are acutely ill, suffering from life-threatening conditions or injured, pediatric emergency physicians(locum tenens) are required to treat a plethora of ailments. These physicians must be able to deal with medical emergencies, often treating patients who have incurred trauma or are suffering from exotic illnesses. As with any pediatric specialty, easing anxiety and pain is paramount in pediatric emergency care.
Required Qualifications
BC/Peds with EM experience or BC/PEMPALS and ACLS
