Open due to expansion and succession planning.
Tremendous opportunity to have a full practice - fast!
Strong demand for Orthopedics in the service area.
The new Surgeon will be assisted by one of the current Ortho PAs to assimilate quickly to the practice.
Due to block scheduling, new Surgeon would be given a Friday block.
This practice has three locations.
The demand is strong enough that all sub-specialty trained and General Orthopedic Surgeons can do quite well here.
Aggressive compensation package that includes relocation, a sign-on bonus, and benefits.
Short track to Partnership and eventual ownership.
The location is on the Gulf side of the state, just outside the hustle and bustle of Tampa.

Job Responsibilities

Interview patients to gather information on medical history, allergies, and lifestyle
Diagnose patients using specialized equipment for identifying bone fractures or defects
Perform surgical procedures to realign fractured bones and torn ligaments

Qualifications

Doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO) or doctor of medicine (MD) degree, or equivalent, and successful five-year residency in orthopedic surgery
Board eligible for certification for practice of orthopedic surgery
Current licensure in good standing

Working Hours

Monday through Friday
Fair rotation of Call responsibilities
