Seeking a Senior Medical Director for a Radiation Oncology program in southern Ohio. Candidate must be board certified in Radiation Oncology and have previous leadership experience. Looking for someone who is patient centered, community involved and interested in growing a regional cancer center.
Radiation Oncology Staffing includes:
1RN, 4 Radiation Therapists (3 full-time), 1 full time Dosimetrist, 1 full time Physicist

Medical Oncology Staffing includes:
11RN’s, full time Pharmacist and Pharm Tech, Social Work, Financial Counselor, MLT Lab Tech, Physician Assistant and Medical Oncologist and Director of MO

Additional Cancer Center Staff:
1 full time Cancer Registrar, Navigator, Clinical Manager of Cancer Services, and Support Staff Manager, Director of Cancer Services / Community Health & Wellness

Comprehensive electronic medical records – integrated with radiation oncology department.
One other radiation oncology physician is in our service area,

New facility with both Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology combined services opened in November 2004. Joint Commission, American College of Surgeons, and American College of Radiation Oncology accredited program. Breast imaging services will be moving to lower level of Cancer Center for comprehensive cancer care early of 2017.

Open 8a.m. to 5p.m., Monday – Friday.

Hospital service area of over 250,000 population.

Practice Expectations: Currently treating approximately 20 patients a day. Approximately 10 patients for clinic per day.
 Tumor board on Wednesdays at 7a.
 Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI meetings)
 Radiation Safety Champion / meetings
 Physician Leadership Forum
 Participation in survivorship planning and Oncology Care Model

HDR (breast, skin, lung, gyn)
I-View on-board imaging
Cone beam CT imaging

Phillips Large Bore 4D CT Simulator
Pinnacle treatment planning
