First Physicians Group of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is looking to employ two (2) full-time neurologists to join their successful multi-specialty practice in the highly desirable area of Sarasota, Florida. We are located only minutes from the beautiful beaches of Siesta Key, Longboat Key, Lido Key and Anna Maria Island on the West Coast of Florida. Sarasota is located approximately 60 minutes south of Tampa and 1.5 hours north of Ft. Myers. The area has wonderful schools, great restaurants and a wide variety of activities to please all ages.
About the Position:
Inpatient and Outpatient responsibilities. Two Neurohospitalists are available to assist with inpatient consults and call coverage.
1:6 for hospital call (this includes Stroke call)
Group has an EMR - Intergy/Vitera
On staff at one hospital only - Sarasota Memorial Hospital
Stable practice with a 20 year history in the community
Board Certified preferred or Board Eligible if within 5 years of completing training
Competitive Salary will be offered along with comprehensive benefits, CME, PTO, relocation assistance and other perks. Physicians in the group have sovereign immunity.
Expertise in Epilepsy, Stroke, Dementia a plus.
